1970. Les travailleur.euse.s en grève manifestent en Pologne communiste pour s’opposer à l’augmentation des prix. Dans les bureaux des dignitaires, la tension et la violente répression croissent à mesure que la révolte s’intensifie. En ayant recours à l’animation en « stop motion » pour donner corps aux enregistrements téléphoniques, Tomasz Wolski compose un film précis et prodigieux.
