Perpétuellement lapidé larme Cheech et Chong à travers la ville de Los Angeles, ce qui provoque des problèmes partout où ils vont. Après Cheech perd son emploi, les deux amateurs de pot tête aux bureaux de l'aide sociale où la petite amie de Cheech, Donna, travaille. Au lieu de la collecte du chômage, ils se retrouvent Rejeté dans les rues, à la recherche d'un moyen de gagner de nouveaux revenus.
